THANKSGIVING FIRSTS

Hello Everybody! I hope you had a good Thanksgiving and you didn't eat too much turkey or pumpkin pie. As for me, for my 1st Thanksgiving, I had a great time. On Thursday, November 22, we went to Nanay and Tatay's house, that's what I call dad's mom and dad. As you can tell from the pictures, I got a little spoiled from everyone wanting to hold me. I guess they just can't put me down.

Just to give you a break: Here's a picture of mom and dad...don't they look happy together? Now everybody say, aaaaahhhhh...

On Friday, November 24, we went to Uncle Mike's and Auntie Lil's house in Lake Forest, which is in Orange County for all of you, who live out of state. I got to hang out with my cousin, Maddy, she's 2 1/2 years old, Isabella, she's just ahead of me, she's 4 months old and Riley, she's going to be 3 years old. It was cool and all, but it got kinda boring hanging out with a bunch of girls. My only escape was watching the Laker game, I think I'm going to be a diehard Laker fan like my Tatay and Uncle Vu. By the way, to all my uncles, (Vu, Mike, Mark, Kimo, Ron, Randy) and aunties (Lil, Michelle, Christine, Kat, Christina) I'm waiting for all my boy cousin's, my age...hurry up...I need some boys to hang with.

Here's my cousin, Isabella and me, I'm the one on the right.

Here's me and my Uncle Mike,
he's the expert when it comes to "prime rib"

Another Thanksgiving Firsts is that I got my "first" cold. That's right, on Saturday, I came down with a cold, some coughing and congestion. Thanks to mom's TLC (tender loving care), I'm feeling a whole lot better.

One thing before I go, a tradition that mom and dad have for thanksgiving is to share what you're thankful for, you probably do this with your family also. But since this is my first Thanksgiving, I want to say Thank you to God for allowing me to be here. I Thank God for mom and dad, for grandma Nancy and grandpa Kim, for Nanay and Tatay, for Uncle Mike, Auntie Lil, Uncle Vu, Auntie Michelle, Uncle Mark, Auntie Christine and Uncle Kimo. I thank God for my cousins, Maddy, Isabella, Riley, Jessica and Anthony, who I haven't met yet. Well that's it for now.

2nd Month Update: Faces and Places

Mom and Dad can't believe it, I turned 2 months old on Saturday, November 17... I guess time flies when you're having fun. As you can see, I've been having fun, this was my costume for the Harvestfest. Can you guess what kind of animal I'm trying to be...you're right, a penguin.
On Wednesday, October 31, mom and dad took me to the Harvestfest, it's an alternative to Halloween, where our church parking lot is tranformed to a festival, with food, music, games and lots of candy. Mom and Dad said I was too young to eat any candy, maybe next year.

There has been many things going on in our lives over the past month, especially with my dad, he was gone on two mission trips this month, one to American Samoa and the other to Mexico. He called almost everyday he was away, it was real good to hear his voice. Man, I missed him. Mom and I were so glad to have him back home. But I'm glad he leaves for a good reason and that's to help other people get close to Jesus.
Here's a picture with me and dad,
before he left for American Samoa.

As you can see, mom and dad have been taking a lot of pictures of me again, sometimes I feel like posing for the camera and other times, I'm just not in the mood as you will be able to see.
Over the past month, I was able to visit quite a few people as you will be able to see. I pretty much go everywhere now, I've been to Target with Dad, to Calvary Chapel Golden Springs with mom, and I've been able to visit both of my grandparents. As you can tell, I have a pretty active life. I don't stay home too often. Well if I don't get to see you before Thursday, have a great Thanksgiving with your family and don't eat too much.
