Days before Christmas

Happy Birthday, Riley. Thanks for inviting us to your birthday party. It was a lot of fun. Pretty soon I'll be able to hang out with you and Maddy on the monkey bars and swings...Hey, so what's so interesting that you guys are looking at...it can't be possibly more interesting as me. Hold me up, I can't see...get me outta this car seat!
Back up, girl. You're getting too close for comfort, Isabella, Haven't you heard about personal space? It's what we need as people, you see when people get too close, we become uncomfortable, and feel invaded by others. Haven't you seen in the elevator, adults get so paranoid when someone stands next to them in an elevator. Besides I heard through the grapevine, auntie michelle, there were going to be a lot of cute little girls at this party. So just keep that in mind, 'Bella.

It's Christmas time at Disneyland. Mom and dad decided to take me a second time to the Happiest Place on Earth, since the first time I wasn't able to ride "It's a small world". I had such a great time. I was so "tripping out" on all the colors and lights. I guess it was really a small world, because we ran into Kloie, Kristi's and Kaylee...oh yeah, also Uncle Randy and Auntie Christina came along, not to mention all of the Aparicio's. Here's a cool picture of Uncle Randy and Kloie trying to catch a snowflake.

Days after Christmas

Do you notice anything different about me? That's right, you guessed it, mom and dad shaved my head. Well, actually they cut my hair, they didn't have clippers, so dad just used a pair of scissors to "buzz" my head. What do you think? Mom said the "combover, just wasn't working. Do I look "gansta" or what?
So the official date of my first "haircut" is December 26, 2007. That same night was also another first, you see dad's Christmas present to mom, was a date night to go see the musical, "Wicked" and also the first time they were going to leave me with someone other than them. The "someone" or actually "someone's" was my grandma Mascardo, Auntie Chris, my cousin Jessica, (in the picture below) and my cousin Anthony.

The following day was Thursday, and mom and I headed out to church that night. We were able to meet up with a lot of people, like Kloie, Kristi and Kaylee's mom and dad, Uncle Randy and Auntie Christina. We also got to see, Max and Belli's mom and day, Uncle Luis and Auntie Z, along with my crazy Uncle Johnny and Auntie Allison.

Yes, that's me with a tie, mom and dad said it was a special occasion. So I dressed to impress. On Saturday, December 29. Mom and dad took the whole family from both sides to dinner at Il Fornaio in Manhattan Beach. Uncle Mike and the family couldn't make it, he was sick. But as for the rest of us, we ate our fair share of Italian food. Afterwards we went back to our house for desert and mom and dad gave everyone "encouragement" presents for the new year. Mom and dad are always doing stuff like this. I guess it's their way to show how much they love their family.

Here I am with my Aunts, Vy, Betty and Annie, they always seem to be ready to pose for the camera. We spent that day hanging out at Auntie Nina's furniture store called "Essence" it's located in Redondo Beach, just in case you're looking for cool furniture for your home.
My first experience of ice skating on Friday night, dad took all of us, mom, me, Auntie Christine, and my cousins Jessica and Anthony ice skating at the Santa Monica Promenade. We all had a lot of fun as you can tell from the pictures. My cousin Anthony is really good, he raced my Auntie Christine, cousin Jessica and even with dad and beat every single one of them. I was kind of bummed I was too young to ice skate but maybe next year. Since my cousin Anthony is pretty good, I'll ask him to teach me.
