PRAY FOR US

PRAY FOR US...As you may know the Mascardo's along with 22 team members from Calvary Chapel South Bay will be leaving Thursday, August 14 for the Samoa Mission Trip. We'll be on the island of America Samoa until Sunday, August 24. Mom and me are really excited, because this is the first year, we'll be able to join dad for this mission trip. We know that God has great things in store for us and the team.

Here are some areas to keep in prayer...my dad helped me with this part.

1. TEAM- Safety as we travel, overall health and team unity.

2. EVENTS- We will be involved in 2 big events, the Back to School Harvest on Friday, August 22 and the Children's/Youth Ministry Conference on Saturday, August 23. Pray for God to use these events to reach out to the people in America Samoa.

SAVE THE DATE...oh yeah, don't forget to save the date, Saturday, September 13, is my birthday party. This will be my first one. From what I've seen it's a day that people say "Happy Birthday" to you, give you gifts and then they sing you a song and make you blow out a candle. I don't know about all that, all I know that it's going to be a lot of fun. So Mom and dad told me to tell you to look in the mail or email for the details. See you later!

CRUISIN'

ALL ABOARD...THE CARNIVAL CRUISE!
Nanay and Tatay blessed the whole family with Carnival Cruise tickets to celebrate their 40th Wedding Anniversary. I know some of you may be thinking their anniversary was in February, well this was the time that we were able to get the whole family together. From the pictures you can tell that we had an amazing time on the cruise.
Me, Dad and Kuya Tony kickin' it in the room. It wasn't too bad for my first experience on a ship...I didn't even get seasick.
Man, I can't believe it...I think this is the first time in my life, this has ever happened...
The person who took this picture...cut me off...That will be the last time we ask someone to take our picture.

nanay and tatay with the grandkids.

Here's Ate Jessica and Auntie Chris on the boat, Uncle Kimo and Kuya Anthony are in the background. Why is it that they are always ready to take a picture? Strike a pose...

Here I am, my first experience of Catalina Island.
We decided to eat at a Mexican Restuarant for lunch. I wonder who got to choose the place...huh, dad? Anyway, they said the food here was too spicy for me...so dad gave me plastic cup to gnaw on.

This was the same day of the Southern California Earthquake. While we were at the restuarant we were watching the news about the 5. something earthquake in Chino Hills. We heard that all of you survived. I was kinda bummed because I missed my first "California" earthquake.

Here is my first attempt at golf...Dad said I needed some help...For my first time, I would have to say I'm a natural...watch out Tiger Woods. Actually Kuya Tony is real good, he won 2nd place in the Tiger Woods Putting Contest.
Golf is alright, but I actually prefer the stairs, more cardio exercise.

SUMMER...SUMMER....SUMMERTIME

Summertime is so great. You get to have fun in the sun. As you can tell the summer sun allows me to work on my "tan". For some reason I don't have to be in the sun too long before I get dark. Dad said it's the filipino in me.

Watch very closely, I'm going to juggle these 2 balls right before your eyes.

Look, it's me and my mom and Tyler and his mom.

Look I'm representing USC colors...actually it's an Arizona State Jersey.

One day, I'm going to be playing "futbol"...you know...we call it soccer here in America. Watch out Beckham!
Or maybe I'll be like my cousin, Anthony Kaono here's a picture of him making a throw to get the out at first base at the 9 and under USSSA World Series in Pensacola, Florida.
