Family and Friends, I'd like to present to you my little brother, Micah Nicolas Mascardo. It's ok You can applaud...Micah made his arrival on Wednesday, July 1st, 2009. He weighed in at 8 pounds and 1 ounce, please note I was 2 ounces heavier, and he was 20 inches tall, also note I was 1/2 inch taller, but hey who's counting. I'm just glad he's here and I'm sure you are too.
You know when I first heard about mom and dad having another baby in the house, I thought that would be such a cool thing, but the more I talked to my friends they told me that it was over, they said I would have to share everything...and I said everything...and they said "Yeah, everything."
You mean that I would not be the only center of attention, that I would have to share the limelight with someone else...and they said yes. Wow, talk about a heavy blow to my ego, not that I have one yet, or do I? Anyway, my friends did say that I would learn to live with it, that is after the intial shock. You know what it's not to bad, I guess God knew I needed a little brother to play with. Thanks God for always looking out for me.
Here's Dr. Park (on the left) the same doctor who delivered me. He's such a cool guy, he's praying about talking his family on a mission trip to Peru next summer. We'll keep that in prayer Dr. Park.

You know what people should actually wait a couple of days before they take pictures, I mean think about you're in your mom's womb for over 9 months and as soon as you get out you're all red and swollen and then the nurse puts some oily ointment in your eyes. I feel you on this one Micah. My arrival day pictures don't look any better.

Hey Micah, I gotta be honest there is one thing that was difficult for me to share with you and it's this blog, for so long it's been called the "Whats up with J.J." blog, but now it's gonna be called the "What's up with J.J. and Micah" blog. Takes some getting used to, but no hard feelings, but either way, Micah, I still love you man.
Here's mom before Micah
Micah, Auntie Suzie and Uncle Frank. Pray for them they're headed out to the mission field in Montebelluna, Italy. Eat some pasta for us.
Micah really loves his Uncle Mike.
